This Commission is a committee directly responsible to the President and composed of several Standing Subcommittees, namely, Facilities, Program, and Assistive Technology, as well as an Executive Committee. The Commission, along with any Special Committees it names, are composed and charged with the functions as follows:

Functions

1. To analyze the special issues faced by all disabled people associated with WSU, and recommend to the President projects or procedures to alleviate or eliminate problems.

2. To enhance the welfare within the University of individuals with disabilities and promote awareness of their issues.
